Overhead mounted

20131022-214637.jpgI got the FWD overhead mounted in the cockpit last weekend! It just adds an amazing ambience to have an overhead in the cockpit.

To get the overhead mounted I also had to start building the windows frames. Right now only the upper part of the window frame and front windows are mounted.

The upper part of the windows is level all way around, so that was pretty easy to build. Then the sides and lower parts are all in different angels. So that will be made one piece of a time – later.

On the picture you might also see the beginning of a sidewall on the left side. Also adds ambience.

The cockpit it self needs a bit of shine up. Some cleaning and paint.

I also have borrowed two 23″ screens that you might spot “outside the wind shield”. Right now it is somewhat temporally installed. I need to make a shelf for the screens.

The overhead is at this point only interfaced to a single PoKeys56U card. So that only gives me 56 inputs. But that covers the most important parts of the overhead.

My name is Peter and I live in Denmark.
