Build A Boeing will close! (For a few months :-)

We just bought a new house!!!

The house we live in at this point is not that big. But it has a basement and that was what inspired me to start building a cockpit; that unused space you have in a basement. But the kids are getting older and we all could do with more space. So we found a new house in the same town at a reasonable price.

We get the keys this weekend and then we will begin moving our things. And I must take the cockpit apart in October.

The new house is only a one story house. So no basement for the cockpit… But my sweet wife has suggested that I could use one of the guest rooms for the cockpit. “Yes, please!” was my reply. Especially because the room she pointed at was the large guest room that measures 4 x 4 meters.

So I will take everything down, and rebuild it. I have thought about things I would like to change. But I think I keep most things as they are right now.

A room that size could however make me consider a curved screen at some point…

Good luck on your move Peter. Such a huge task to move house..but to dismantle and move a sim as well. Wow!

    All the best

About BuildaBoeing

My name is Peter and I live in Denmark.
I am building the cockpit of a Boeing 737 in my basement using my limited skills and inspiration from fellow builders.
