From cold and dark

I was asked some months ago if I could show how I power up the cockpit.

It is very easy!!

I just turn on the power first and then start the computer. After a 5-6 minutes wait I an ready to go! That is all I have to do:

Power ………….  ON
Computers …… ON
Start up completed

The reason it is this easy is because all programs necessary automatically launch on the different computers when it starts. This is simply done with a short cut to the programs in the windows menu > Start > Start up-folder.

Most of the programs are Prosim737 related. They automatically go in to full screen mode and also auto connects to the computer with the Prosim server.

The computer with the Prosim737 main program then connects with FSX via WideFS. Again automatic.

I recorded a video of the process from “cold and dark” (Sorry about the bad joke in the video) to ready to go, meaning going from “No power” to “Ready to play”.

As I mention in the video I have 6 computers installed at this point. 1 powerfull computer that runs FSX. The others are old office desktops that I have got for free. I can only connect one screen per computer, so that is why I have so many at this point. But with a new graphic card I might be able to downsize by one or two.
