The cockpit has come quite far I think.
I really enjoy the enclosure provided by a cockpit shell – even though it is made with cardboard for now. 🙂
I bought a used short Throw projector from eBay just £100.
The pedestal needed some reworking.
In the video I mention my friend Thomas that is great with electronics. Making the watch for my cockpit kickstarted a small project on his side with small additions for RC-planes like a power monitor/alert. If you are in to RC-flight take a look in his webshop: tje.dk
My name is Peter and I live in Denmark.
I am building the cockpit of a Boeing 737 in my basement using my limited skills and inspiration from fellow builders.
I post my progress on this blog and hope it can be an inspiration to others.
Hello Peter, first of all,my compliment for your beautiful home cockpit! Based on your result i’ve also bought a Sanyo Plc xe40 projector on ebay for my cockpit, but i’m having very bad result in term of focus and sharpness. I would like to know if you have any hint for me to setting it up properly. I’m using 1024×768 resolution in prepar3d setting, are you using that native projector resolution too or a higher one?
Thank you very much,
Greetings from Italy
