Greetings

I am not the only one in the family that enjoys the cockpit.
My two kids also thinks it is fun getting down in the basement and fool around, flick switches and turn knobs.
On the left my son (4) who actually can manage to fly jets (When crash detection is off 🙂 ) but on the picture he drives a car around the airport. On the right Ellen (2) that mostly is fascinated by all the switches.
Peter, the “sticker” is more elusive than the “foamalux” could ever be. I have tried getting quotes from printers, using your wonderful overhead drawing and I’m receiving quotes exceeding $200 US dollars! I’m wondering if you ever thought of offering your drawings, on the sticker material for a reasonable price that you could “easily” resell to the FlightSim masses? I would be happy to be your first customer. I think you could create a nice little business to support your “habit”. Its the perfect EBAY business! Just keep it coming, I enjoy every bit and have decided to use your panels. I hope you will continue to make them available whether it be free or for sale, I will acquire them as they come available. Thanks again for what you do so well!

Hi Robert.
Sounds strange that they would ask $200 for something that should cost you about 1/5th of that.
In Denmark (One of the most expensive countries in the world) the print costs $35 (Before VAT and PP). So you should be able to get a price that matches this in US.
This is the Copenhagen-based company I used. It is in Danish, but you can see the kind of material that I have ordered “Foil print”.

I talked to a guy in Dublin a few months ago that encountered the same regarding price. He found that the print company was talking about print on foam (Kind of ready-to-install-panels) and not just the foil. So you might want to check what they are offering.
I just did a quick calculation on postage. With VAT and PP the $35 would reach over $110 before I have it shipped across the Atlantic to you.
So I think your best option would be to have another go at the local print shop and make sure you only get the foil.
Best regards
Peter
