I have made a list of new hardware that I would like to put in a newbuild FSX computer.

However – for some strange reason – most hardware has gone up 15-20 % in the last month. So right now I am waiting for the prices to lower a bit again before I make any purchases.

Well until today where I got an email/price alert on this lille darling. The Intel i7 2700K 3.5 Ghz. Found it at DKK1700 / €220 which is €40 below the normal price.

Actually I was going for the i5 3750K. It should be almost as good for FSX. But when the difference in price was a few euros I went with the big one.

Other things on my wish list is:

The Asus P8Z77-V Motherboard
A GTX 660 grapich card
Cooler MAster 212 Evo – CPU cooler
Corsair GS700 PSU
Some RAM (not narrowed it at any brand yet)

And perhaps a SSD harddisk.

My current FSX computer is 6 years old. So it is about time to get this updated.
